A fan of singer Taylor Swift has asked the star for advice as to what she would do regarding her ex-boyfriend who broke up with her via text message. According to reports, the singer's father will have Swift's advice engraved.
The fan was identified as Kasey Andrew and she asked Swift to heal her broken heart since the star herself has been in many relationships where she had her heart badly broken.
According to E! News, Swift has written her advice on Tumblr. Andrew said in an interview that Swift told her it's devastating to come to terms with speaking of someone in past tense when she used to see them as her present and future. She adds that Swift understood that it was a devastating situation for her and the singer's advice is something that helped her a lot.
Andrew added that Swift told her it's okay to be hurt and that she needs to protect herself. She said Swift was like a big sister to her.
According to Andrew, the phrase "protect yourself please" was the best advice Swift gave her, so much so that her father is to have it engraved on her new iPad. The iPad is actually symbolic of her because her ex-boyfriend smashed her iPad so getting a new one and having the advice engraved on it seems to be the best thing to do.
Andrew noted that she and Swift first met during the secret sessions for Swift's "1989" album. She was invited to one of the secret sessions and it was the coolest experience of her life. She added Swift has such a great heart and she can't believe Swift took the time to comfort her.
According to People, Swift also gave a break-up and moving on playlist for Andrew that included songs from artists such as Charli XCX, HAERTS, Measure and Azure Ray.
