Zopo Mobile, a Chinese smart phone manufacturer in Shenzhen, China, is unveiling its latest 64-bit processor and a curved display smart phone.
The ZOPO ZP200 is China's first Glasses-Free 3D dual-sim smart phone which has sold a lot in mainland China.
The Chinese smart phone firm is yet to show its ability to compete with the global market as it releases its latest model. The ZOPO ZP530 has a 64-bit revolution quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with a 5-inch display. It also offers LTE, dual SIM and micro SD capabilities. In addition, the latest model has 1 GB RAM with 2,100 mAh battery.
"Zopo have again shown a new smartphone, and on the surface it looks like a stunner. It [is] elegant," according to Giz China.
Zopo's mobile phone prior to the latest ZP530 is the ZP320 with a quad-core Mediatek processor and a 5-inch display on Android 4.4 operating system.
Zopo Mobile started using Mediatek's MT6290, a multi-mode LTE modem chipset, when it was released later last year. The smart phone company acquired the new chip set and begun shipping its new generation 4G LTE mobile phones in late 2014, Android Authority reported.
The ZOPO ZP530 is the company's smart phone that would have been a ready competition to Xiaomi's Redmi 2 if only the company had released it with 2 GB RAM and a larger battery, opines Giz China.
Zopo Mobile is the common name for Shenzhen ZOPO Communications-equipment Limited Company. The company has been manufacturing mobile phones in China since 2012.
