Some users of non-HTC smartphones should be excited since HTC announced that HTC Sense Home 8 is rolling out as a closed beta. The launcher started rolling out on June 23 and select users of non-HTC Androids should expect it soon.

Users should have a compatible smartphone that runs Android KitKat 4.4 or above to benefit from the closed beta. The developer will choose its own testers, and therefore, users should wait to see if they are chosen.
Select users will receive the email from HTC soon enough. Irrespective of the decision to take part or not, it is crucial to move fast. It is important to note that testers will get the UI on a "First come, first serve" basis.
