One Direction's Louis Tomlinson, 23, seems to be coming out gay in a video recently shared by a Directioner.
"I'm gay. It's pretty unfortunate," Tomlinson seems to be heard saying in a Vine video captured by a fan named Tyla.
The fan also shared on the video sharing service several clips of Tomlinson with his bandmate Liam Payne in a hotel lobby in Australia where One Direction is currently on tour.
On Nov. 11, 2014, Tomlinson went on a Twitter rant after Jenn Selby of The Independent wrote an article about him supporting gay Apple CEO Tim Cook by wearing a rainbow Apple icon to the "X Factor" studio.
Apparently, Tomlinson was not happy about the article, so he took to Twitter to express his anger towards Selby and emphasized that he is "in fact, straight."
Selby also took to Twitter to respond to Tomlinson's angry tweets saying, "That being called 'gay' should never be insulting & that standing up for #LGBT rights is an admirable thing to do..."
Directioners defended Tomlinson, to the point, however, of threatening Selby, to which the journalist responded, "I'd also like to remind Directioners that calling a woman a 'bitch' is never OK - and neither are death threats..."
On the recent Vine video, in which Tomlinson seems to be finally admitting that he is gay, Directioners also seem to show unwavering support.
Directioner SAJA tweeted, "your happiness is all that truly matters to me #LouisWeLoveYouNoMatterWhat."
Another Directioner Fiona tweeted, "we would love louis even if he had a toe stuck to his head, him being gay wouldn't make it any different for us #LouisWeLoveYouNoMatterWhat."
