The latest details and possible spoilers for "Deadpool 2" will feature a new main villain being teased, an early 2017 production start and a possible release date on February 2018.
Film producer Simon Kinsberg announced that "Deadpool 2" will begin production in the early months of 2017 and mentioned that the original writers of the first film, Paul Whernick and Rhett Reese are working on the script and it will be ready sometime before the year ends, Collider reported.
So far, Kinsberg has not revealed any new details regarding the plot of "Deadpool 2", although the sequel will feature the time traveling mutant Nathaniel Summers/Cable joining Wade Wilson/Deadpool's (Ryan Reynolds) crazy new adventure. Several actors have already expressed there interest in playing Cable such as "Expendables" star Dolph Lundgren, "Avatar" star Stephan Lang and "Hellboy" star Ron Perlman, and each actor had made their point in various interviews and social media websites.
There are rumors of the name of the main villain Wade Wilson will be facing in "Deadpool 2" as cast member Ed Skrein stated in an interview that Taskmaster could face Deadpool in the sequel as he explained that having the character interact with Wade will be funny and that Taskmaster as no morals compared to the Merc with the mouth.
Taskmaster is a well known super villain mercenary in the Marvel comics, who has worked and trained several villains and joined groups such as A.I.M., Thunderbolts, Cabal and many more. His powers include a photographic reflexes which enables him mimic the moves and fighting styles of everyone he encounters either hero nor villain.
Both Deadpool and Taskmaster have faced eact other before, as Taskmaster admits at one point that Deadpool is difficult to beat due to his chaotic and unpredictable personality.
In other news, several rumors are making rounds regarding the possible release date for "Deadpool 2" in cinemas.
Previous reports suggested that "Deadpool 2 could launch on January 2018 as Fox already reserved the spot for the sequel. However, with the film scheduled on the early months 2017, fans might expect the movie to be finished possibly in a Thanksgiving release date, if the production could finish filming and editing early.
Another theory is that, "Deadpool" 2 will likely show on February 2018, the same month that released the first film and it might compete againts "Fifty Shades Freed", which is due on Feb. 9, 2018 and even having hilarious promos mocking them, Fansided reported.
For now, comic book fans and movie goers will just have to wait for further details on "Deadpool 2" within the year before production starts next year and hopefully see it sometime in 2018.
