Bryan Cranston, playing Walter White in the first two seasons of "Better Call Saul", have featured a number of familiar 'Breaking Bad' faces, and now Cranston is ready to bring back to the show with its third instalment.
Last week, Cranston appeared in "The Rich Eisen Show," when asked about his appearance in the prequel of "Better Call Saul" Emmy-winning hit 'Breaking Bad' he showed all the interest while talking to the host of the show Eisen.
"I owe Vince Gilligan so much. He was my champion to get this role," he told Eisen. "If they were to call me and say, 'We have this idea, we'd like...' I would say, 'Yes, you don't have to finish the pitch. I'm there, what do you want me to do?' I'll do whatever they want because I know how careful they are and proprietary they are with those characters and storylines and it wouldn't be something, 'Oh, isn't that kind of a stunt casting kind of thing.' It would be something kind of unique and obscure and creative, and I'm all in."
According to Hollywood Reporter, Cranston has not got an offer to act, but he has been offered a chance to direct an episode of "Saul," something that has left him confused. Cranston expressed that he is derbating whether he should direct an episode of "Saul" or not. He says in order to direct he should be a person that doesn't know anything about the show but as he is the fan of the show. He added, "'That would kind of kill it for me as a fan to peak behind the curtain.' So, I don't know if I am or not."
Even though the actor's interest in "Saul", he told Eisen he doesn't miss 'Breaking Bad' the show that won him four Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama, as well as a Golden Globe. Cranston believes Vince Gilligan as the reason for his success as Gilligan crafted just what is the perfect beginning, middle, and end to a story to make it a complete story.
