"Dragon Ball Super" anime series has been relatively successful with its new storyline and characters being introduced. However, with the array of criticisms of its animation style, the DBS anime series might be in danger of being terminated or be put on hiatus, especially with the introduction of the manga adaptation that went online last week.

There have been many criticisms on how the iconic anime series is being introduced in this technologically advanced period. As to the comments of IGN, the animation has not improved, for it seems like that the quality of animation was stuck in the 90's making it very poor.

And with the publishing of Viz Media of some chapters of "Dragon Ball Super" manga online, it cannot be helped to ask what would be the fate of the highly criticized anime series.

For the purpose of emphasis, the plot of the new "Dragon Ball" manga adaptation takes place shortly after the battle between Goku and Boo, while recapping the "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods movie." And rumor has it that print version will be published by 2017.

With the introduction of the manga adaptations, one cannot help but review the past comments of primary authorities and influences behind DBS. It can be remembered that even anime creator Akira Torimaya complained about the quality of the anime series.

"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live-action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much I can't leave it alone." Attack of the FanBoy quoted Toriyama as saying.

The poor animation of the new "DBS" has not only spawned comments but as well as various memes online, criticizing and emphasizing the animation concerns. The experienced anime producer Norihiro Hayashida even affirmed with the current problem the "DBS" anime series is facing right now.

"Yes, this is a real dilemma." Hayashida told Anime News Network. "There are a lot of newbies coming up through the industry right now, and production time is limited. That's the reason why anime quality has deteriorated slightly."

With all the supporting details and affirmation of the poor quality, it cannot be helped for a curious fan to ask whether an interval is to be expected to further improve the visual presentation of the "Dragon Ball Super" anime series. Guess we would just have to wait for the updates and more improvements, especially that the series has just recently started with "Future Trunks arc," and is enjoying a good feedback.
