Android 7.0 Nougat release update for HTC One A9, One M8, One M9, HTC 10; What about Sony, Samsung?

Here is the Android 7.0 Nougat release update for HTC One A9, One M8, One M9 and HTC 10.

The search giant Google has declared that Android N will be officially launched as Android Nougat.

According to recent reports, HTC has confirmed that HTC One A9, HTC One M9 and HTC 10 will get the Android 7.0 Nougat update. According to many reports, HTC One M8 will not get the Android 7 update.

Sony Xperia Z3 is one of the handsets that ran on the Android N Preview. The tech company Sony is well-known for releasing new Android system to its customers instantly.

Sony Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Sony Xperia Z2, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z2 Tablet and Xperia Z3 has got the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. It is not known whether these Sony devices will get the Android 7.0 Nougat update or not.

For Samsung devices, the tech company has not revealed any information about its Android 7.0 N update. Several reports indicate that the company's newest smartphones will get the update in 2016.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Active, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Active, Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Tab S2 are some of the devices that will receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update.

Android 7.0 Nougat has some new features that will give iOS 10 a run for its money. Android N has a split-screen multi-window mode that lets users to run two apps simultaneously side-by-side by splitting them in half.

The battery saving Doze feature has been improved upon with Doze on the Go that can sense when the display is off and a person is walking and automatically saves power.  The Doze feature was introduced in Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Meanwhile, OnePlus One has received new Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update, Team Android reported. ROM developer community in China has come up with a new firmware for the device.
