After the announcement of Square Enix's "Kingdom Hearts 3" at E3 2016, fans and followers of the game's latest series were bummed out with its official release, after years of development since at least 2006. However, in the great rundown of events, it has been confirmed that "KH3" is slated to be released in early April 2017 - based on the company's financial report.
Prior to Square Enix's schedule of Kingdom Hearts Orchestra world tour slated March 10 to June 24 next year, the official release of "Kingdom Hearts 3" is likely to make it to the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One consoles before the said dates.
More so, during the past months, the game's developers hinted instead the premiere of "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" in December, which preceded the release of "Kingdom Hearts 3," with the notions of an upcoming overhaul to the traditional experience offered by the game.
Jjust recently, "Kingdom Hearts" co-director Tai Yasue uncovered that the much-awaited installment of the video game franchise will face a fitting change on its gameplay, Game Spot learned.
First, the adventure of "Kingdom Hearts 3's" protagonist, Sora, will not be visiting any worlds from the "Final Fantasy" series.
"We're not adding any Final Fantasy worlds. A lot of the original [to Kingdom Hearts] worlds [Hollow Bastion, Traverse Town, e.t.c.] had Final Fantasy characters in them. At this moment, we are not really coming up with any plans for that, we're making original worlds and Disney worlds," announced Yasue.
Yasue explained how worlds in the game are carefully selected based on gameplay ideas they want to implement in order to always present difference and variety on the playful universe of "Kingdom Hearts," according to Morning Ledger.
Meanwhile, several news reports emphasized that the game could see a Japan release before it heads to the West. The forthcoming visionaries that players could expect to see in the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3" worlds include Tangled, Hercules, Mysterious Tower and Big Hero 6. Other rumored words would be Star Wars, Frozen, Toy Story and Zootopia.
