Patrick Adam's character in "Suits," Mike Ross, is expected to be in jail throughout the entire season. Titled as "To Trouble," season 6 will show how Mike will manage to stay behind bars. In the previous season, the character was handed down a two-year sentence for fraud after practicing law without a degree.
In the official synopsis released, season 6 is expected to focus on Mike's life behind bars and how Harvey and company will manage to cope on falling out of Mike's appeal. To be specific, the synopsis read like, "In the Season 6 premiere, Mike transitions to prison life; and Harvey and the others cope with the fallout of Mike's plea deal and try to stop what's left of PSL from collapsing," TV Guide reported.
In a recent interview, Adams revealed that what he knows about the upcoming season so far is more on the situation his character will be having to deal with. Speaking of situation, Adams confirmed they have already shot seven episodes for the season and all of it were in a prisoner's cell setting, ABC News reported.
The actor even added that his character will be even more tested this season, which he meant as introduction of new characters implying new interactions, new relationships and new threats.
The Mike Ross actor in turn, justified the looming fate of his character, saying that as the show continues to run on its fifth year, there comes a tendency for producers to repeat a little bit and follow the same path. As for their show, what the actor tried to say in his interview was they are trying to include a new element on the upcoming season while injecting it some new energy.
Adam further said the plot twist has been kept secret for the past seasons, commending the people behind the brave act of changing the story line that much while not running away.v"Suits" seasons 6 is expected to air on July 13, Wednesday at 9:00PM in the United States.
