If Apple's scheme on product release is followed, consumers may expect another tablet is in line for launching this fall. It has been rumored that the iPad Pro 2 will be launched, or at least announced, during Apple's event this coming September.
During fall last year, Apple unveiled its newest line of iPad products now known as the iPad Pro. A few months after, a smaller and upgraded version of the said device was released in March 2016.
The likeliness that it will be iPad Pro's next iteration is unlikely since the tech-giant just released a new version six months ago. Instead, fans are advised to anticipate iPad Pro 2 unveiling in spring of 2017. In addition, the possibility for Apple's new tablet may be left to a new iPad mini or an iPad Air 3 as well.
The first iPad Pro was launched September last year, while its 9.7-inch counterpart came six months after. If a release would not be possible for the iPad Pro 2, an announcement, perhaps, would be more likely. Another scenario that has been looking at is the possibility that Apple will both launch the new iPad Pro 2 models, which include the larger and smaller versions, PC Advisor reported.
The same report added that if the iPad Pro 2 launching pushes through in September, its specs are more likely to surpass the first iPad Pro. In terms of storage, it is expected that the next iteration will retain the same storage options currently available with the current model.
It is also likely that a Rose Gold color will be included in the roster of the Pro 2 variants. Since the iPad Pro 9.7-inch version is Apple's latest tablet, its specifications will be most likely at par with the upcoming Pro 2. This implies that a true tone display will be available together with a 12MP iSight camera which captures live photos and is capable 4K video recording.
Despite the impressive specs, some consumers are asking to include improvements in the next iteration which includes a better keyboard accessory. Users of the original iPad Pro claims typing accuracy is weaker with the device's small keys, Mac World reported.
