"Dead of Summer" season 1 just kicked off two weeks ago, but already there are tons of mysteries surrounding each of the characters.
Previously, it was revealed that Amy Hughes (Elizabeth Lail) was hiding a huge secret in relation to what happened to her best friend from school.
Amy was spending some time with the latter when police officials broke into their classmate's home. Amy's friend wanted to make sure that the police wouldn't be able to capture her and send her to prison.
While at one of the rooms in the second floor, Amy's friend wanted to sneak out through the window. However, it was very dangerous and Amy urged her not to do so.
Unfortunately, the friend still insisted so she eventually fell from the second floor of the house and died.
While at the summer camp, Amy met a couple of people who have known each other for quite some time.
By the looks of it, each one of them is keeping a huge secret.
For instance, Amy could see dead people and she's also hallucinating into seeing ghosts.
One of her new friends Joel (Eli Goree), who is fond of taking videos, saw an image of black man standing behind Amy just before they started swimming.
Meanwhile, "Mix Tape" will focus on Carolina (Amber Coney) and the secrets that the female character is hiding from everyone else.
In the teaser released by Freeform for episode 3, Carolina told her friends that she used to have countless nightmares growing up.
However, now that she's much older, her dreams feel so much more real.
It was also revealed that Carolina will meet a guy - the kind that her mom warned her about.
While talking to the male character, Carolina will experience some of the weirdest things happen to her.
At one point, she will be walking into the woods and hearing creepy sounds. The teaser also showed some ghost-like figures that Carolina will most likely bump into.
In other news, Joel will also reveal that he can actually talk to dead people.
"Dead of Summer" season 1, episode 3 will air on Freeform on July 12 at 9 p.m. ET.
