Insomniac Games chief creative officer Brian Hastings revealed details on their three major games that they have worked on. He also gave his opinion on their recent publisher, GameStop, on working with them.
Hastings recently hosted an Ask Me Anything topic on Reddit's official website to provide information on the development of their newest lineup. When he was asked by one Reddit member about how to describe his feelings on working on Marvel's property, he said that it was amazing and their team is creating a lot of amazing features for this upcoming game.
The game developers have also given their opinion on their recent partner and publisher for one of their games. Hastings said that it has been an incredible experience working with the popular video game store.
The video game establishment has given the game studio total creative freedom, to make the game exactly how they want it to be, Hasting said. He also complimented that the video game store were creative and passionate about making a gaming experience unforgettable for the players.
Hastings also gave his opinion on Sony's reasons behind keeping the price of the new "Ratchet and Clank" the same with the original version. He said that it kind of made sense, and it felt right that it had the same price and discussed how the first game came to be, and its stages of development with the team's ideas.
The host also talked about their recent game, "Song of The Deep," and revealed the reason why they have not released it in Wii U. He said that the studio needed to pick specific systems that had specifications that are similar to theirs and the team behind the development of the upcoming video game was very small.
In other news, the game studio tweeted to confirm that GameStop's posting of the upcoming Marvel video game's release date was a placeholder. They clarified that there is still no release date at this time.
@KerrRobinson84 who said it was 2 years away? Just stay tuned. We're still working on it and can narrow it down closer
