Although up until today the release date of Eminem's album is yet to be announced, which got the fans wondering if there is ever going to be an album launch anytime soon. According to Ecumenical News, one of the reasons why Eminem haven't got the chance to release his album just yet is because of his tight schedule. According to the same publication, the rapper is currently working on soundtracks for different films, including DC's upcoming "Suicide Squad" film.
It is also stated that another reason for the album's delay may be the new business venture of the rapper, as Eminem partnered up with Stock X to create an online trading store that would feature some of the rapper's rare sneakers collection.
During an interview with CBS Detroit, Eminem spoke about his interest in having a business that revolves around sneakers, wherein he stated "I really like the fact that sneakers are a big part of what StockX is doing. When I found out that they happen to be doing it from downtown Detroit, it made even more sense to get involved."
In other news, according to FXnews Call, fans should no longer wait for Eminem's 2016 album to drop because it is already cancelled. It is said that Eminem is currently experiencing some financial trouble and opted to just cancel the launch of his 9th album.
According to the same publication, since Eminem is not giving any update about his upcoming album, speculations about the rapper being on the verge of bankruptcy surfaced, although the reports also stated that it is clearly impossible for Eminem to go broke just because he hasn't released an album for quite a long time.
On the other hand, it is said that Eminem's silence may be a sign that he's been spending a lot of his time in the studio preparing for his 2016 album.
For now, fans should just be patient and wait for further announcements, besides 2016 is far from over, and clearly, Eminem is worth the wait.
