Since "NCIS" has recently lost Michael Weatherly (Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo) and Cote de Pablo (Ziva David), there have been speculations that one possible replacement for "NCIS" Season 14 is Sarah Clarke.
Clarke first appeared in "NCIS" in March, wherein she plays the character of FBI special agent Tess Monroe. Although she projects an outward tough exterior, her character has a soft heart inside. She went through several failed marriages but did not have a child, and she is loyal to her agents and team who she considers as family.
Furthermore, Clarke appeared in the TV series "24" where she was praised for her brilliant performance. She is currently a regular cast member in TV police show "Bosch," wherein she plays the character of Eleanor, the former wife of Harry Bosch (played by Titus Welliver). Deadline Hollywood, however, reported that her role in the show may soon be limited to minor appearances, which means that Clarke soon have the time to become a regular member in another show like "NCIS" Season 14.
Meanwhile, three weeks ago, CBS announced that Wilmer Valderrama will also join "NCIS" Season 14 as a regular member; however, his character's name has yet to be divulged. It is only known that Valderrama will play the role of a field operative returning after years working undercover. The actor is best known for his role in the "70s Show," and an appearance in "Grey's Anatomy" and "Minority Report."
Valderrama expressed his delight in joining "NCIS" through his Twitter page, and he was promptly greeted to the NCIS family by Pauley Perrette.
Exclusive:
Thrilled to be joining @NCIS_CBS.. We are gonna have some fun.. And expect the unexpected.. #NCIS @CBS hope you guys are ready.— Wilmer Valderrama (@WValderrama) June 17, 2016
The rest of the "NCIS" regular cast have opted to stay in the show. The lead actor Mark Harmon (Leroy Jetthro Gibbs) agreed to signed up for two more seasons, while Perrette (Abby Sciuto), Sean Murray (Timothy McGee), Rocky Carrol (Leon Vance), and David McCallum (Donald Mallard) have also recently agreed to stay for two more seasons.
Since all of them agreed to stay for two more seasons, this means that "NCIS" fans will get to watch their favorite show for two more years, and possibly, even beyond that. The show is still the most popular series in the United States, which has an estimated more than 50 million audiences worldwide.
