Matt Damon is set to star as the title role in "Jason Bourne" opposite Alicia Vikander, 27, as Heather Lee. The two Academy Award winners were recently in Seoul, South Korea, for the premiere of action thriller film directed by Paul Greengrass.
During the "Jason Bourne" premiere in Seoul on July 8, Friday, Vikander wore a Louis Vuitton dress, according to Just Jared. Her leading man, who was in a gray suit, joined her on the red carpet.
In May, Selena Gomez also wore a Louis Vuitton dress at the Met Gala 2016 in New York. It was a spotted print maxi dress paired with black leather boots, according to Cosmopolitan.
Hours before the "Jason Bourne" premiere in Seoul, Damon and Vikander attended a photo call and press conference event. At the press conference, the latter opted for a Céline dress.
"Jason Bourne" will hit theaters in South Korea on July 27 and in the United States on July 29. Joining Damon and Vikander in the cast are Julia Stiles, Tommy Lee Jones, Riz Ahmed, Vincent Cassel, Kamil Lemieszewski, Bill Camp, Neve Gachev, Mark Justice, Nicole Chauvet, Stephanie McIntyre, Marla Aaron Wapner, Ato Essandoh, Lasco Atkins, Vivian Yoon Lee, Amy De Bhrun, Elicia Stokes Navarro, Anthony Molinari and Scott Shepherd, among others.
Born in Gothenburg, Sweden, Vikander is of Swedish and Finish descent. She starred opposite Keira Knightley in the English-language adaptation of "Anna Karenina" in 2012.
In 2013, Vikander starred in the Danish film "A Royal Affair" as Queen Caroline Mathilde. The film was nominated as Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards but lost to the Austrian film "Amour."
Recently, Vikander won the Best Supporting Actress award at the Academy Awards for her performance in "The Danish Girl." Her co-star Eddie Redmayne also received a Best Actor nomination but lost to "The Revenant" actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
On the other hand, Damon has yet to win an Oscar trophy as an actor. However, he won the Best Original Screenplay award at the 1998 Academy Awards for "Good Will Hunting," which he shared with Ben Affleck.
