tvN's on-going drama titled "Let's Fight Ghost" just revealed new still cuts of a kiss scene featuring 2PM's Taecyeon and his female co-star, Kim So Hyun. On July 11, Monday, the drama's production staff released the picture to multiple local news outlets.
The released photo obtained by The Kpop Herald gave fans a first look at Taecyeon and Kim's respective character in the television series. The photo shows the moment just before the two stars are about to kiss. The photo was widely circulated on Facebook.
"The first episode will show a rather squabbling relationship between the two characters," the publication quoted an observer from the drama crew as saying. "Their inseparable relationship will soon lead to romance."
Helmed by Park Joon-Hwa, "Let's Fight Ghost" focuses on Park Bong Pal (Taecyeon), a financially troubled exorcist and the middle high-school student, Kim Hyun Ji (Kim), who was killed and became a ghost. The two characters form a close relationship as they perform exorcisms together.
The drama is based on a popular webcomic "Ssawooja Gwishina" by Im In Seu, which was published on Korean portal site Naver TV from June 4, 2007, to November 2015. The 16-episode horror drama, which premiered on July 11, Monday, also stars actor Kwon Yul, Kim Sang-Ho, Lee Do-Yeon, Kang Ki-Young, Baek Seo-E, Jung Ji Soon, Yoon Seo Hyun, and David Lee.
2PM's Taecyeon recently announced at the press conference for "Let's Fight Ghost" that the drama would be his last project before he goes into his two-year mandatory military service. The actor plans to continue working actively this year before he enlists in the Korean military in early 2017.
"I think of 'Let's Fight Ghost' as my last project before I enlist in the army next year," All K-pop quoted Taecyeon as saying. "I am working very diligently on filming. Please look forward [to the drama]."
