Since "One Punch Man" Season 2 is a highly anticipated anime sequel, rumors have begun circulating about its expected release worldwide, following the announced release date of "One Punch Man" in the United States.
Fans in the U.S. will finally get to watch the first season of "One Punch Man" in their native language, as Adult Swim had earlier told fans in the Anime Expo that the English dubbed version will soon be aired starting July 16.
It should be noted that there is a substantial One Punch Man fanbase in the United States and in North America even before the announcement of the upcoming dubbed version. Because of the dubbed version announcement, many have speculated that October is the possible release date for "One Punch Man" Season 2; however, this date is merely a conjecture, as the producers of the show still have to make an official announcement with regards to the release date.
Meanwhile, Viz Media had already made public the name of the actors who will give voice to "One Punch Man" Season 1 English dubbed characters.
Voicing the lead character Saitama is Max Mittleman. Saitama's cyborg disciple Genos is voiced by Zach Aguilar. Mumen Rider, is a hero who uses his bike as a weapon is voiced by Robbie Daymond. The criminal Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, a ninja and self-declared rival of Saitama, is voiced by Erik Scott Kimere.
"One Punch Man" focuses on Saitama, an unlikely hero who could defeat his enemies with a single punch, hence the name. He is member of the Heroes Association and gets to fight monsters; however, his superior ability has also caused to easily get bored.
Despite easily defeating many monsters, he does not get the respect he deserved from many fellow heroes or even common folks. Most of his colleagues are either jealous or are afraid of him. People don't really see him as hero material due to the way he looks, and only a few friends and acquaintances see his true nature.
"One Punch Man" debuted as a Manga comic book in 2009, and in 2015, it was adapted for animation by Madhouse and it was first aired for release on October and ended by December.
