A new variant of Zenfone 3 Deluxe smartphone has been announced by the electronics manufacturer Asus. The device is powered by Snapdragon 821 processor. Also, Nexus 2016 smartphones will be powered by the same processor.
The Asus smartphone comes with 256GB ROM and 6GB RAM. According to The Verge, Snapdragon 821 processor is 10 times faster than Snapdragon 820 processor.
Zenfone 3 Deluxe is the first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 821. The 821 chipset is designed to deliver a 10% performance increase over its predecessor.
The Taiwanese manufacturer released its Zenfone 3 series with Zenfone 3 Ultra, Zenfone 3 Deluxe (6GB and 4 GB variants) and Zenfone 3 smartphones. The smartphones, which are available for pre-booking in Taiwan, will begin shipping after July 29.
Zenfone 3 Deluxe features a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and a 79% screen-to-body ratio. The device has a 23 megapixel camera with the 4K video recording, 4-axis optical image stabilization, f/2.0 aperture lens and Sony IMX318 image sensor.
It is the most powerful Android smartphone available. The device sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera and has a 3,000mAh battery.
Other features include fingerprint sensor, laser autofocus, Quick Charge 3.0 technology and dual-SIM support. Reports indicate that the ZenFone 3 Deluxe smartphone will cost about $780.
The Zenfone 3 smartphone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. Other features of the device include a fingerprint scanner on the back, 8MP front camera, 16MP rear camera, 64GB ROM, 4 GB RAM and Snapdragon 625 octa-core chipset.
On the other hand, ZenFone 3 Ultra smartphone has a 6.8-inch Full HD display and a full metal unibody design. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor and has 128GB ROM and 4GB of RAM.
The ZenFone 3 Ultra smartphone has a fingerprint scanner on the front and sports a 23 MP rear camera. The smartphone has a Quick Charge 3.0 technology and a 4600mAh battery.
Meanwhile, it is expected that the search giant Google will release two Nexus handsets in the coming months. The devices will be similar when it comes to hardware. According to reports, Marlin and Sailfish will feature the new Snapdragon 821 chip.
According to a report from BGR, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will also be powered by the same chip. Latest reports also suggest that the tech company Samsung will unveil Galaxy Note 7 on August 2, 2016.
