The latest details for "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will feature the main plot of the anime game in a new trailer and the announcement of a new collector's edition in Europe.
Bandai Namco streamed a new English trailer of "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" which reveals the main plot of the "SAO" video game sequel. The trailer features the new NPC Premiere roaming around the Town of Beginning trying to convince someone in town to take her quest, but no one bother to notice it. The game's main hero Kirito sees Premiere and accepts Premiere's quest out of curiosity.
There is also the introduction of a new character in "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" named Genesis and also takes the moniker the "Black Knight. Both Kirito and Genesis are seen fighting each other in a duel as it prophecy tells of two "Black Knights" clash in battle, it will likely destroy or save the world, Crunchyroll reported.
Aside from the plot and characters, the trailer offers more gameplay features such creating a huge party from among the more than 300 available player characters and NPCs. In addition, gamers can also customize how they look from hair and skin color to weapons and armor.
Gamers can control other characters besides Kirito as popular "SAO" characters such as Asuna, Leafa, Sinon, Lisbeth,Silica, Strea, Philia, Klein and Agil. Players are given new sword skills and are able to perform "Switch" during battles against powerful monsters.
Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" titled "Windia" performed by Japanese pop singer Luna Haruna. There are also pre-order features for "SAO: Hollow Realization" as users who pre-ordered via the PlayStation Store will be able to play through some of the full version’s opening areas a week prior to its scheduled release and will receive a bonus costume, “Ancient Equipment Maid’s Clothes”.
In other news, Bandai Namco announced a new collector's edition for "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" in Europe.
The European Collector's Edition will feature a copy of the "SAO: Hollow Realization", two exclusive figurines of "SAO" characters Kirito and Asuna and limited collector's box, Gematsu reported.
Bandai Namco previously announced a collector's edition during the Anime Expo 2016 event which also features three mentioned items plus the game's soundtrack, Blu-ray disc, mini-posters, Decal sheets and Art book.
There is also a limited edition of "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" which has a box art illustrated by abec, a soundtrack CD, special contents Blu-ray disc, extra package for the Blu-ray and CD, "Dengeki Nerve Gear vol.4" pamphlet, and mini clear posters.
"Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" is set to launch on Oct. 27 in Japan and the western version will be release sometime in the fall for the PlayStation 4 and PS VIta.
