Exes Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow were spotted at the beach with their kids Apple and Moses as they go on a Valentine's Day family date.
According to E! News, the friendly exes spent around two hours together on the beach in Malibu over the weekend with their eight-year-old son and ten-year-old daughter. The actress and the Coldplay singer have announced their "conscious uncoupling" almost a year ago but the two have been pointing out that they are very amicable as they continue to see each other and go on dates with or without the presence of their children.
Fans are asking if the two might reconcile anytime soon but according to sources, it might not be the case as the time they spend together was nothing romantic as they just were there for the surf lessons of their children.
According to US Weekly, Martin gave love buttons to his kids and Kate Hudson's son Ryder and another friend of Apple as gifts for Valentine's Day. He himself wore a love button pinned on his shirt as seen in the photos captured by the paparazzi.
Martin wore a blue top and grey bottoms as well as a blue cap. As for Paltrow, she wore a black tank top and navy sweats. The two were definitely close during the date with the kids as the beach and while they were having their lessons, the two were able to have some private time. At one point, Paltrow linked arms with Martin as they walked.
The 42-year-old actress was interviewed during the latest issue of Marie Claire Australia and she noted that they are really very close and she feels like not being together anymore was the relationship they were meant to have.
She also revealed that the conscious uncoupling actually started back in 2012 and she even asked her good friend Johnny Depp some advice about their breakup.
