Apple Watch 2 release is coming pretty soon as the original Apple Watch discount is spotted in Amazon Prime Day Sale.
Apple Watch Sport's price is back to $249 from its original price of $349. This fueled the speculations that the next generation of the Apple device will come soon. This is not the first time that Apple Watch discounts have been spotted online.
Meanwhile, Apple Watch 2 features may include a camera based on a patent filed by the company. However, this feature is still unconfirmed as including a camera could be risky. Another patent also revealed that an additional of two buttons will be included in the device. This could mean that new functions will be added in the device.
According to 9to5Mac, Apple Watch 2 features may include an Amazon Echo-like Siri. "The software development kit would allow developers to integrate apps with the voice assistant, and a Siri speaker would compete with Amazon's Alexa and the upcoming Google Home. Adding to the rumors, a new report suggests this product may not be available until sometime next year, but could feature cameras with facial recognition features that stand out from Amazon's and Google's products."
It was previously reported that Apple Watch 2 will also include new features like call and text features as well as improved fitness-related specs.
Apple Watch 2 release is reportedly scheduled in September alongside Apple's iPhone 7. The next generation of the device is long overdue since the first Apple Watch was release on April 24, 2015.
However, Apple is still mum on the Apple Watch 2 release date and features.
