The "Star Trek Beyond" cast are missing their co-star Anton Yelchin who died on June 19 in a freak accident in his own garage. Yelchin's last movie is set to be in cinemas on July 22 and the late actor's colleagues are keeping him in their thoughts.

"We're mourning," Zoe Saldana told Entertainment Tonight in an interview with the stars regarding their upcoming sci-fi movie on July 13, Wednesday. "We're grieving the loss of a great friend and a great human being, and he can never be replaced."

Zachary Quinto, who plays Spock in "Star Trek Beyond" admitted the untimely death of the 27-year-old actor was challenging and horrific for them. Celebrating the film felt odd as the cast mourn the actor. He added, "The senselessness of Anton's loss was something that none of us could really fathom, but our goal is to really celebrate him and his spirit."

Karl Urban described Yelchin as the smartest guy in the room, saying the young actor was family and his death was devastating and shocking. The cast of Justin Lin's film are extremely close as they filmed "Star Trek" in 2007 and stuck together since then.

As for their individual fashion style, Quinto revealed he considers their group the gayest of all straight men he had ever worked with. All the men shop more than him, and they usually meet in the bar.

The cast members seem to agree on everything, including the revelation of Sulu, John Cho's character as gay, and so much to the disappointment George Takei, 79, who previously played Sulu in the franchise.  Cho, on the other hand is positive and focuses on being responsible to give justice to the role. He thought the entire cast and crew handled it correctly.

Furthermore, the rebooted sci-fi franchise's third instalment has the appearance of Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos playing the cameo role of an alien. The owner of the biggest online store arrived on the day of filming his scene with a massive security and waited patiently to shoot his part, according to Hollywood Reporter.

Bezos had expressed in past interviews of his "Star Trek" passion. His love of space led to the formation of Blue Origin, his private space travel firm.
