The latest details for "Tekken 7" will feature new character gameplay trailers for Bob and Master Raven, as well as the future of "Tekken X Street Fighter's" development.
Bandai Namco Entertainment begun streaming two new character trailers for "Tekken 7" as Bob and Master Raven make their way into the game's main roster. Both characters were announced during the EVO 2016 event, VG 24/7 reported.
Like most "Tekken" characters, Bob sports a new outfit featuring an black button out Hawaiian shirt and ripped jeans. Bob was first introduced in "Tekken 6" as an overweight fighter who uses freestyle karate. Gamers should not underestimate Bob;s overweight build as he possess immense strenght and unbelievable speed and agility, giving gamers a wide range of attacks. Bob is considered by many to be the most well rounder characters in the "Tekken" series.
Aside from Bob, another character has shocked gaming fans as Raven returns to the roster, however, this Raven is not the same person from the previous games. This Raven is female and game producer Katsuhiro Harada tweeted that "Master Raven" is actually the "boss" of Raven in the main game series.
Master Raven utilizes the same ninja move set similar to Raven, but much faster and more precised. She also uses a ninja sword for her rage arts finishing move.
In other news, it seems that the development of "Tekken X Street Fighter" will be decided as Harada stated in an interview that the new crossover game will depend on the success of "Tekken 7" in the market, Attack of the Fanboy reported.
Harada added that Capcom has been making tremendous effort into making "Street Fighter 5" a success, while "Tekken 7" in arcades were very popular, thus in a business perspective it will not be a good idea to announce "Tekken X Street Fighter" yet and may have to do it soon.
Bandai Namco stopped that development of "Tekken X Street Fighter" on April as it may fracture" the audiences of both fighting franchises.
Harada added that the gamers who are loyal to both "Street Fighter" and "Tekken" have been proved difficult for them to announce a release date window for "Tekken X Street Fighter", and so it was decided that the crossover will be put "on hold" for now.
"Tekken 7" will launch in early 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and the PC.
