Another Hollywood couple has ended their relationship with Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney separating after five years together. A latest report has revealed that the two stars were unable to keep the romance alive given their long distance relationship.
Many fans were taken by surprise when news of Lady Gaga and her fiance's break-up surfaced on Tuesday, July 19. The two celebrities were one of Hollywood's longtime couples and they even became engaged in February 2015. However, a source told Us Weekly magazine that Lady Gaga and Kinney's busy work schedules and the time they spent apart took its toll on the relationship.
Kinney, who stars in the NBC series "Chicago Fire," has been staying in the windy city to film the TV show. Lady Gaga also has a busy schedule where she would sometimes stay in Los Angeles or tour around the U.S. or in other countries for performances. The source shared that two celebrities were apart most of the time given their respective work commitments.
The multi-awarded singer is said to be "really torn up" about the split, according to the source. Although Lady Gaga and Kinney both had a lot of things in common with each other, both stars lived "ultimately too different" lives. The source revealed that the former Hollywood couple had a hard time trying to find time for each other amidst their busy schedules. A big issue that affected the two celebrities' relationship has been the distance they spent apart, the source said.
Another insider shared a similar sentiment in an interview with People magazine. The insider commented on how the "Born this Way" singer and Kinney's work have kept the former couple "apart a lot." The situation eventually contributed to the two stars' separation.
Avid fans may recall that the former couple first met in 2011 when Kinney starred in the singer's music video "You and I." The two stars then started dating several months after the music video project. Lady Gaga and Kinney also broke apart in May 2012 but rekindled their romance after one month.
Both Lady Gaga and Kinney have yet to comment on the break-up news.
