Recently, a few DC Comics characters are being talked about as possible new additions to The CW's superhero shows.

Here's a list of prospects and where they may appear this fall.

Batwoman

Possible appearance: "Supergirl"

Kate Kane, being Batman's female counterpart, is more likely to make an appearance in FOX's "Gotham," while rumors are loud that Batwoman, a.k.a Maggie Sawyer, will be in "Supergirl" Season 2. Coincidentally, Maggie Sawyer is a confirmed character for the second season of "Supergirl." According to The Hollywood Reporter, "The Family" alum Floriana Lima will take on the role.

Oracle

Possible appearance: "Supergirl"

Barbara Gordon, also known as Oracle, will also arrive in National City for "Supergirl" Season 2. According to Bleeding Cool, she and Kara will develop a strong relationship.

Both Kate and Barbara will team up as a vigilante duo fighting crimes in National City. In the comics, both heroines established the Birds of Prey group, and if they indeed appear in "Supergirl," it only paves the way for more female heroes to make their TV debut on The CW.

Constantine

Possible appearance: "Arrow"

John Constantine first made an appearance in "Arrow" Season 4, so it's likely that he might return to the series as an official member of The CW's DC TV Universe. Matt Ryan could join the ranks of Wentworth Miller and John Barrowman, who eventually became regulars across all DC shows after taking on recurring roles.

Batman

Possible appearance: "The Flash"

This may sound the least realistic, considering that Fox currently owns the rights to "Batman" and "Gotham." However, it is rumored that The CW has approached Fox to work out a deal to get Bruce Wayne appear in one of the DC shows. It's been said that "The Flash" Season 3 may adapt the "Flashpoint" arc in the comics.

Following "Flashpoint," Barry's decision to save his mother alters the entire DC timeline. Although his mother is alive, he no longer has his speed. Barry goes to Bruce Wayne and asks him to help him find a way to regain his speed. With Bruce's help, they are able to recreate the particle accelerator explosion, giving Barry back his speed force.

With that said, Batman plays an integral part in "Flashpoint," and it would be difficult to eliminate him from the equation.
