It was way back in February 2015 when the DC superhero TV series, "Constantine," wrapped up its first and could be its last season. The series has been cancelled by NBC, but after a year of waiting, "Constantine" may have a chance to push through for a second installment.

According to Hall of Fame Magazine, the official digital home of The CW network, CW Seed, is currently rerunning the first season of "Constantine." With that said, several speculations have sprouted leading to a single detail - a possible "Constantine" Season 2.

Although NBC canceled the series in 2015 due to its poor performance in terms of getting enough viewers, fans of "Constantine" are still grateful as the first season of their favorite TV show will get a rerun on a different network.

The same publication also cited that even if "Constantine" may not still get a second season, there is a chance for the character to be included in "Legends of Tomorrow," which airs on The CW network.

On the other hand, according to Comic Book, the distributor of the series and one of the show's production companies' Warner Bros. tried to offer "Constantine" to several networks. However, the negotiation failed because the cast members of the superhero series were already released from their contracts.

As of the moment, the CW network has not confirmed anything regarding the revival of "Constantine" under its roof; however, the 13 episodes of the series' first season can be seen on the CW Seed website for free.

"Constantine" was based on the original DC Comics character, John Constantine, who hunts supernatural beings. It was said that NBC expected a lot from the series, but the show did not work out the way the network expected it to be.
