Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been the talk of the town since quite some time now. However, it seems that the once "unlikely" couple is about to open a huge gateway of happiness in their lives by welcoming their twins pretty soon.
According to Hollywood Life, 46-year-old Stefani is already four months pregnant and the couple is expecting twin baby girls. However, none of the rumors have been officially confirmed by the singers themselves. If is is true, then the two little girls would indeed be the miracle babies for Stefani and Shelton as it was previously speculated that Stefani may not be able to conceive due to her age.
The publication cites a source claiming that the couple has been long discussing their dreams of having children together. The country crooner already likes to spend much of his time with Stefani's sons from her previous marriage and it would indeed be a pleasure for him to have his own kids with Stefani.
Stefani and Shelton conceived naturally and no fertility help was taken, the source further revealed. However, they did a search for fertility experts to take help from, in case there is no natural pregnancy. But the help was never required.
"He and Gwen are said to be a bit nervous, understandably, but elated," the source told the publication. "Their love has already been a whirlwind, and now they could be a family in one fell swoop."
Stefani had never expected to fall in love with Shelton, according to ABC News. Despite being together all the time on the sets of the popular reality show "The Voice," Stefani and Shelton had never become friends. However, their heartache and separation from the better halves brought them together.
"It was the most unlikely situation to ever happen," Stefani revealed to the publication.
Stefani further revealed that following her divorce with Gavin Rossdale, she was not looking for love at all. However, she found solace when she discovered on the sets of "The Voice" that 40-year-old Shelton is separating from his then wife, Miranda Lambert.
Slowly, Stefani started to open up about her struggles in life and the two became friends. Today, Stefani is thankful to god that he put them in a position so that they could support and have each other.
