Kim Taeyeon, the leader of K-pop girl group Girls' Generation loves her tattoo. On July 27, Wednesday, she posted on Snapchat a short, blurry video clip of the ink at the back of her elbow. She captioned "love my tattoo!"
The tattoo in black, cursive letters reads "Serenity." Kim's looks has been considered cool but powerful.
Her approach to pop star chic is refreshing, relying much on cuteness and on a fashion that seems straight-from-the-runway. Her blonde hair and good looks are pleasant to the eyes no matter what she wears, according to Vogue.
Kim's way of combining bohemian red carpet gowns and off-duty styles is captivating. Often considered Girls' Generation's Beyonce, she is also a solo artist who is always on the go. Caine London custom denim jackets and Juicy Couture embellished bombers are among her favorites which she pairs with kitsch-covered sweatshirts or some flirty dresses.
Kim also goes for pastel Markus Lupfer jumpers, tops from Alexander Wang or multicolored Fendi cross-body satchels. She is not so much on labels but on cuteness.
The Girls' Generation leader is a type of girl who switches styles and designers easily and quickly, her wardrobe has youthful details, such as cartoon motifs, candy colors, bows and smileys. The 27-year-old's photos are always Instagram-worthy and her airport fashion, superb.
While Kim is flaunting love for her tattoos, there are several other K-Pop female artists who have body tattoos as well. For instance, Narsha of Brown Eyed Girls has four tats - a star on her right wrist, some words on her right ankle, Treble and Bass clef on her right foot and two feathers on her back's top left corner, AllKPop reported.
Jia of Miss A has a diamond-shaped tat behind her right ear as well as a heartbeat-type on one of her fingers. Meanwhile, a large "B" tattoo stays in BoA's mid-back, accented by two angels who peer through the two holes of the letter. Avid nature enthusiast Lee Hyori has one on her right arm that reads, "Walk lightly in the spring, mother earth is pregnant."
Amber of f(x) has "Pray" and "Faith" overlapping and forming a cross while Ga In of Brown Eyed Girls has an elegant-looking tattoo, a star on her left wrist. Hyuna of 4minute has a "My mother is the heart that keeps me alive" tattoo on her shoulder. Solo artist Kahi has four - on her lower back, nape and a star on her two wrists.
