Kim Tae Yeon aka Taeyon has been selected as the new face of "Sword and Magic" game and will be singing its original sound track. The of Girls' Generation leader will be working on a remake of the "Atlantis Princess" hit song by BoA for the game's OST.
The OST will be used for the game, for its commercial films and for other promotions. It will be released to other music sites, AllKPop reported.
The song "Atlantis Princess" has been hurting for BoA as it brings sad memories. It was during the promotion of this song in 2003 that her manager suddenly died. Hence, she could not easily bring the song up.
BoA's manager who also managed Fly to the Sky R&B duo was in a car accident on July 9, 2003. His car hit something on the road, so he stepped out to inspect it. A truck behind him swayed to avoid the car and hit him instead, killing him on the scene.
At that time, Fly to the Sky was in a van following the manager's car as they returned from a schedule with BoA who left ahead in another vehicle. More than a decade later, the song will be revived by Taeyeon for "Sword and Magic," a traditional and casual role-playing game when the player can develop his own hero via adventure dungeons and fields.
Meanwhile, as a leader of SM Entertainment's Girls' Generation, TTS member and a solo artist, Taeyeon has been trying to balance a hectic schedule but manages to flaunt a refreshing pop star chic style.
