Google Nexus 2016 is set to unveil this August following the release of final Android 7.0 Nougat version. However, recently, reports suggest that it will not happen.
The first new device to release with pre-loaded Android 7.0 Nougat is LG V20 that will defeat the Google Nexus devices to market and then the HTC Sailfish and Marlin on October 4. It has been claimed that the new Google Nexus devices with Android 7.0 will not be bought in the coming weeks. The Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P will also be released after LG V20, making some significant changes to key software features.
According to BGR, the company Google usually releases new hardware that can give the best showcase in some of the best features of a new Android version right after releasing it. Recently, Google Nexus Sailfish has been spotted on GFXBench benchmarking site.
As per GFXBench listing, the upcoming Google Nexus smartphone feature a 5-inch full high definition (1920 x 1080 pixels) display screen with a 5-finger touch support. The handheld device is powered by ARMv8 2xKryo processor clocked at a speed of 2.1GHz, coupled with 1.6GHz 2xKryo chipset. It comes equipped with a Qualcomm Adreno 530 graphics processor.
Previous reports suggest that the upcoming Google Nexus device will feature a massive 4GB of RAM on board and comes with a built-in 32GB internal memory storage. As mentioned earlier, the handset will be running the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box, as Slash Gear reported.

The device is also supposed to feature an updated camera application and could support Boom Sound.
