The latest details and spoilers for "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 will feature the timeline and logo of the Justice Society of America, and another appearance by Green Arrow.
Executive producer March Guggenheim tweeted a photo of the official logo of the Justice Society of America for "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2. The famed superhero group will be the main focus of the show as Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and his team will be aiding them in defeating the Legion of Doom which consist of "Arrow" and "The Flash" TV series characters Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) and Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller)
Aside from the team logo, cast member Brandon Routh seemingly confirmed that team will be going to the 40's where the "Justice Society of America" is founded Routh told Screenrant that team will spending alot of time in the 1940's, visiting different spaces in the era. Routh added that his character Ray Palmer/The Atom is pretty excited to meet the members of the JSA, and thinks that they help gain more knowledge and experience of being a hero.
Routh did not further elaborate how many times the team will go back to the 1940's as it will depend Guggengheim and rest of the production crew on how "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 will lead the storyline soon.
Several members of the Justice Society of America have been announced such as Hourman (Patrick J. Adams), Citizen Steel (Nick Zano), Obsidian, Star Girl and Dr. Mid-Nite.
It was previously reported that that Rip's team will somehow ended up in ancient Egypt as Guggenheim tweeted a photo of an Egyptian hieroglyphs illustrations featuring the Waverider, and it is speculated that the team will end up meeting the firt incarnations of Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) namely, Prince Khufu and Priestess Chay-Ara.
In other news, Guggenheim and co-producer Phil Klemmer confirmed that Oliver Queen/Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) in "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2, but with the twist.
Oliver Queen will appear in the season premiere of "Legends of Tomorrow" as the mayor of Star City rather than his vigilante persona as the events of "Arrow" season 5 will have him train new heroes to protect the city, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
"Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 will air on Oct. 13 on the CW Network.
