Niantic has finally given avid "Pokemon Go" fans a quick update on what players can expect from the game, as well as some of the changes that it has recently implemented.
Avid gamers of "Pokemon Go" have been lamenting over Niantic's speculated silence over game bugs, glitches and player's feedback. However, the game developer has posted a message on the mobile gaming app's Facebook account where it shared the latest news about the game, Attack of the Fanboy reported.
Niantic has mentioned in its social media post that the company has heard the suggestions and feedbacks that players have shared about "Pokemon Go" and its features. The game developer stated that it has decided to remove the Battery Saver feature on iOS devices following comments from gaming fans. Niantic explained that it removed the said feature given the glitches and "buggy" experience that several players have reported.
However, it appears that the game developer is planning to further improve the said feature. Niantic even mentioned that it is looking to release a game patch or a fix that will address the issue.
The company also announced that it has already deployed the game to Latin American players. It appears that Niantic has timed the game's latest release with the Olympic tournament to be held in Rio de Janiero. Niantic has specifically stated that "Pokemon Go" will now be playable by "Latin American fans, visitors, and the Olympic athletes in Rio."
Elsewhere in the game developer's Facebook message, Niantic also mentioned that it has revoked the Legendary Pokemon creatures that some players have managed to acquire. Previous reports have indicated that a few players were able to capture some legendary characters that Niantic has yet to release in the game.
Niantic explained in a statement released to IGN that it has decided to remove the said Legendary Pokemon characters from gaming accounts of specific players to preserve the integrity of "Pokemon Go." The game developer commented that it noticed the existence of a few legendary creatures in some of the accounts "when they shouldn't have."
The game developer also shared that it has already addressed the issue. Niantic noted that the said Legendary Pokemon characters were already revoked from the gamers' accounts.
