The Inbox app from Gmail has undergone changes and now it can support several browsers including Safari and Firefox.
The official Gmail Blog, Taylor Kourim the Software Engineer confirmed on Feb. 19 that the Inbox app from Gmail is now available on Firefox, Safari and Chrome.
"Inbox now supports Firefox and Safari, as well as Chrome, You can sign in at inbox.google.com," Kourim wrote on the Gmail official blog.
He added that interested users who still does not use an Inbox can request an event through sending an email at inbox@google.com or can ask a friend who has already gotten it.
Furthermore, the app also expanding to iPad and Android tablets, it is downloadable to the app from Google Play and App Store.
According to the Fuse Joplin Inbox from Gmail is organized and easier to use, making it more convenient for the users in using the app. The site also added that the user has a prerogative to customize the app the way in any way he like or want it to work.
Moreover, the features available in the Inbox from Gmail include bundles which similar messages are being bundled together so users can deal with them all at once.
Another feature is the highlight, which the most important information are being highlighted without even opening the message. Aside from the email, it also includes reminders and can snooze emails.
Meanwhile, the said app is built by Gmail, so all of messages, information from the user's Gmail account will be automatically on Inbox and all of the messages are still on Gmail.
