Sprint launched an aggressive new plan on Feb. 20 that is created to draw more customers in. The new subscription plan was names The Best Family Share Plan. The wireless carrier company from Kansas said that they are offering a 12GB of data for four shared lines in one new subscription for only $90 per month.
For existing subscribers, the company is lowering the data access rates for each line subscription from $25 to $15 which will give a total price for current Sprint users with a family of four to $150 for 12GB of shared data and unlimited text and calls, USA Today reported.
Sprint also disclosed that they are offering a lower data access charge on all plans with a 12GB shared data of higher.
New Sprint users will have such data access waived on all plans having at least 12GBof share data for a year but the devices will have to be purchased on Sprint's Easy Pay monthly plan which makes the mobile network company's offer to $90 per month for 12GB of data to a maximum of 10 lines.
Marcelo Claure, the new Sprint Corp. chief, wanted to get ahead of T-Mobile US Inc. in the US market. Claure planned to roll out these new cheaper subscription rates with a bigger allotted wireless data, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Sprint is also planning to buy out customer's contract from other wireless networks. The new Sprint Best Family Share Plan promo is available to acquire until March 12.
