The wedding reception of comedian Kevin Hart and Eniko Parrish on Aug. 13, Saturday, was completed with a lit-up ferris wheel and a merry-go-round. The highlights reflected the cheerful disposition of the groom during their super fancy wedding ceremony in Montecito, just a few miles south of Santa Barbara.
The 31-year-old bride wore a Vera Wang mermaid gown, featuring hand embroidery, silk covered bridal buttons and French tulle skirt. During the reception, the aspiring model and actress from Baltimore changed to custom lace gown still from Vera Wang, according to PEOPLE.
Hart and Parrish's wedding was witnessed by 200 people, including rapper Ludacris. The groom's 8-year-old son, Hendrix acted as his best man.
The Philadelphia native groom also has an 11-year-old daughter from his ex-wife Torrei Hart with whom he had been married for eight years. Hart's first marriage ended in 2011.
The 37-year-old comedian proposed to Parrish on her 30th birthday on Aug. 18, 2014. He posted a video of it on Instagram, saying he made a perfect decision on that perfect day.
The proposal got a nod from Parrish, who called Hart "the most amazing man in the world." The couple have been sharing sweet photos of themselves on social media for their followers to be updated.
Recently, Hart posted a Snapchat video of himself and Parrish walking along the California beachside. As a family man, the "Central Intelligence" star is determined not to let fame or any level of success hinder his commitment to his loved ones. He does not want to lose the family feeling in his home.
"I don't want to be in a mansion where I have to find my kids on the east wing," Hart told Entertainment Weekly. "I want to sit on the couch and be able to yell into the kitchen, 'Hey come on, let's go outside and ride a bike!'"
A glimpse of the reception can be seen on a video posted on Snapchat, courtesy of Parrish. It shows a smiling Hart who was also chatting with friends.
