A couple of female stars in China are starting to invade Hollywood, the world's biggest entertainment industry where numerous western actresses thrive. Many female artists from China tried their luck in Hollywood and if they were talented enough to succeed, they have a door of endless opportunities. Being a Hollywood star does not involve beauty alone but talent, dedication, and skill.
One Chinese beauty who is ready for a Hollywood career is Bianca Bai. The Taiwan-born actress is among the most successful actresses and models of her time. She graduated from Shih Hsin University, signed a modelling contract with Catwalk Modeling Agency before working as an actress.
Bai's notable films include "May Dear Stilt," "Kingfisher" and "Ace of Sales." She got an award during the 45th Golden Bell Award for her work in "Shining Days." The actress gave birth to a baby boy in June, NetEase reported.
Another one successful model and actress in China is Cheng Tien His, a Mawei-born lady who studied in London and graduated from the University College London. Cheng is also an author who had penned several books like "Rules of Private International Law Determining Capacity to Contract," "Musings of a Chinese Gourmet" and "China Moulded by Confucius."
In China, actress Zhang Ziyi is among the incredible female entertainment actresses who is about to commence a career in Hollywood. She has been reportedly contracted by Hollywood filmmakers for future projects. Bold and beautiful, she has incredible films to her credit like "Crouching Tiger," "Rush Hour 2," "Memoirs of a Geisha," "Hidden Dragon," "House of Flying Daggers" and "Hero."
Born in Beijing in 1979, Zhang's parents Zhang Yuanxiao and Li Zhousheng were against acting. Zhang joined the Beijing Dance Academy and got the chance to be in the Central Academy of Drama in 1996. She started her acting profession in 1999 with "The Road Home," and has several awards as recognition for her craft, including BAFTA and Golden Globe awards.
Zhang will play as one of the astronauts and scientists in space in J.J. Abram's sci-fi thriller, "God Particle," according to The Hollywood Reporter. For her Hollywood projects, the actress wants to better her skills and come up with fans' expectations. Other sexy and hot Chinese actresses are Jiang Qin Qin, Barbie Hsu, Zhao Wei, Zhang Xin Yu, Zhang Yuqi, Liu Yifei, Li Bingbing, Gong Li and Fan Bingbing.
