New details and spoilers for "The Flash" season 3 will feature a possible team-up between Kid Flash and Jesse Quick and Hunter Zolomon/Zoom returns as Black Flash.
New behind-the-scenes photos for "The Flash" season 3 have been revealed online as several Twitter users tweeted set photos featuring Wally West/Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) and Jesse Chamber Wells/Jesse Quick (Violette Beane) doing a scene in Vancouver.
The tweeted photos suggested that both Wally and Jesse have a private moment together, possibly hinting a romantic interest between the two characters, but was interrupted by a sudden attack and will likely team up. Wally West in season 3 will gain Speed Force powers and assumes the superhero name Kid Flash in the "Flashpoint" reality due to Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) changing the timeline at the end of season 2.
Both Wally and Jesse were struck by the dark matter energy which altered their DNA and possibly gain super speed in show. Beane confirmed that he character will become a superhero as she told TVLine that she was excited when her Jesse was affected by the dark matter energy along with Wally West in season 2 giving fans a hint that the two will eventually have Speed Force powers, but did not happened.
However, with the "Flashpoint" event happening in "The Flash" season 3, the possibility that Jesse could be Jesse Quick has been raised in that alternate reality since anything can in time travel.
In other news, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg teased a returning villain in "The Flash" season 3 as he told Entertainment Weekly that ""Masters of Sex" star Teddy Sears will reprise his role as Hunter Zolomon/ Zoom in the show, but with a twist.
The former Zoom will be operating under a new alias called Black Flash, which in the DC comics is the personfication death for speedsters. It was at the end of season 2 that Zoom was capture by Time Wraiths after The Flash beats him and saved the multiverse from being destroyed.
Zoom violated the rules of the Speed Force by cheating death when he was exposed to Velocity 9, which slowly killing him. He has come back in forth in time and the Wraiths were able to capture him, deforming him into a monstrous version of himself.
Kreisberg commented on Sears portrayal of the villain and gave a proper credit for the show's success and fans are curios to see how Barry will handle his return as the demonic Black Flash.
"The Flash" season 3 will premiere on Oct. 4 at 8pm on the CW Network.
