NBC has recently released its latest promo clip for the upcoming new season of "The Celebrity Apprentice." The teaser features the show's new boss to replace Donald Trump, namely Arnold Schwarzenegger, in full Terminator mode.
Celebrity contestants of the NBC show should brace themselves for what appears to be a challenging new season. "The Celebrity Apprentice" has a tough new boss with the inclusion of action star Schwarzenegger. The network's latest teaser video has even paid homage to the Hollywood veteran's iconic "Terminator" movies, Variety reported.
The clip starts off with a view of several mechanical arms systematically assembling a robot. The teaser indicated that the NBC show is creating a new boss. Pieces of the former California governor's face were then placed on the robot's head. The process continued until a serious looking Schwarzenegger appeared. "Let's get down to business," the Hollywood star ominously stated.
Schwarzenegger replaced the business mogul Trump as the NBC series' new boss following the former host's announcement of his plans to run for U.S. president. Joining the former politician as part of the show's team of advisers are Hollywood celebrities Tyra Banks, Jessica Alba, as well as Steve Ballmer, Patrick Knapp Schwarzenegger and businessman Warren Buffett.
The NBC show, now dubbed as "The New Celebrity Apprentice," will include celebrity contestants such as Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, the late Muhammad Ali's daughter Laila Ali, Matt Iseman, Eric Dickerson, Carnie Wilson, Brooke Burke-Charvet and Lisa Leslie. Singer Boy George will also be one of the show's new contestants, as well as Jon Lovitz, Carson Kressley, Porsha Williams, Carrie Keagan, Kyle Richards, Chael Sonnen, Ricky Williams and Vince Neil.
Meanwhile, NBC executive Robert Greenblatt has shared his thoughts about Trump's potential return to the show. When asked if NBC will welcome the business mogul back as a host for series should Trump fail to win in the presidential elections, Greenblatt firmly answered "No."
The NBC boss made the statement during the Television Critics Association event held in early August, Entertainment Weekly reported. "He would never be back on Celebrity Apprentice, as long as I'm here," Greenblatt added.
The new season of "The Celebrity Apprentice" has been slated for release in January 2017.
