New details and possible spoilers for "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 will feature Jay Garrick joining the team and Sara Lance having a vendetta against Damien Darhk.
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed new and exciting details for what is in store for Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and the rest of the heroes in "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 as he told Collider during the CA Summer Press Tour that Rip and the heroes will be in charge of keeping the timeline safe now that the Time Masters are no longer present in the show.
Rip and his crew have taken upon themselves to do the job the Time Masters have left and act as their own "Time Cops" in the matter. Guggenheim added that season 2 will feature each character changes in the show such as Rip being a little lighter and less grim now that he has gone in terms with his family's death. Ray Palmer/The Atom (Brandon Routh) enjoying being a Time Cop.
Jax Jacskon/Firestorm (Franz Drameh) has forge his own duty as he becomes the official technician and mechanic for the Waverider, while his other haft Martin Stein (Victor Garber) became the teams theoretician. Mick Rory/Heatwave tries to figure out his place on the team and how he coups with the lost of his best friend and partner Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller).
But one interesting change in the team that fans will likely see is Sara Lance/White Canary, as Guggenheim stated that Sara will have a vendetta against "Arrow" season 4 villain Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) as his future self will be responsible for the death of her sister, Laurel Lance/Black Canary (Katie Cassidy).
Darhk will be part of the super villain team, The Legion of Doom along with Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) and Captain Cold.
In other news, its seems another Justice Society Member will likely join "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 as "The Flash" TV series star John Wesley Shipp tease Jay Garrick/The Flash could join the show soon.
Shipp told Variety that having Jay Garrick in the show could open big possibilities for "Legends of Tomorrow" since Jay has been a huge part of the Justice Society of America, not to mention one of its founding members. Shipp added that he is excited on how will things will go on knowing that JSA will be heavily featured in season 2 and how his presence in Barry Allen/The Flash's (Grant Gustin) life could affect the outcome of season 3 with everyone knowing that he is his father's doppelganger from another Earth.
The JLA in "Legends of Tomorrow" will consist of Hourman (Patrick J. Adams), Citizen Steel (Nick Zano), Vixen (Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), Obsidian (Lance Henriksen) Stargirl and Dr. Mid-night.
"Legends of Tomorrow" will air on Oct. 13 on the CW Network.
