"Pretty Little Liars" season 7 recently saw the return of Mona, Paige and Lucas, but there are rumors that at least one of them will be killed off before the series ends.
According to Refinery 29, Mona (Janel Parrish), Paige (Lindsey Shaw) and Lucas (Brendan Robinson) contributed a lot to the hit Freeform TV series. However, this doesn't mean that they cannot die ahead of the finale.
While speaking with TV Line, executive producer Marlene King confirmed that there will be tons of character deaths in the final season of the hit Freeform TV series.
"This is still the most romantic, but also the deadliest season of 'Pretty Little Liars.' We don't take deaths lightly here, so everyone who dies does so for a very impactful and important reason. The writers usually come to a consensus rather quickly. As for the people who are going to leave our earthly show this year, everybody's embracing it. Even when I call the actors and say, 'You're going to die in the next episode,' they say, 'Oh, am I dying? Cool!' It's become a badge of honor to die on 'Pretty Little Liars,'" she said.
Meanwhile, Mona may be in danger of being killed off because the character has flipped flopped so many times on the show already. Just recently, Mona seemed to really care for the Liars, but viewers must not forget that she was also "A" in the earlier episodes.
Lucas, on the other hand, is still very much obsessed with Hanna. At present, the latter is in grave danger and Lucas just might try to rescue her. However, this could also mean that Lucas will risk his life for Hanna.
Paige recently returned to Rosewood only to prove that she still has very strong feelings for Emily all this time. Paige was also the one who turned Alison to the police in the previous seasons. This means that she's not very safe in Rosewood and may also be killed off.
"Pretty Little Liars" season 7 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
