New details for the live-action "The Flash" movie will feature Barry Allen fighting the Rogues and Ezra Miller teasing an encounter with "The Flash" TV series Grant Gustin.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding the possibility that "The Flash" live-action film will feature not one villain, but a group of super villains as the Wrap reporter Umberto Gonzales claim that Barry Allen/The Flash (Ezra Miller) will fight the Rogues in the movie, Screenrant reported.
The Rogues in DC comics are a team of villains that The Flash frequently encounters in Central City and comprised of Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Mirror Master, Weather Wizard, Top, Golden Glider, Captain Boomerang, the Trickster etc. Unlike most villains, the Rogues have their own unique code of honor as they do not practice unwanted killing, unless it is necessary cause and prefer to just steal and rob everyone and everything they can lay eyes on.
Previous reports revealed that Captain Cold will be part of the film as a hired muscle for Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash and it is rumored that "Magic Mike" star Channing Tatum. Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney) already made his film debut in the "Suicide Squad" movie this month and it will not be long for him and the Scarlet Speedster to cross paths once again in the movie.
In other news, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" star Ezra Miller shared his thoughts on "The Flash" live-action movie as he told MTV News that he excited to work with "Dope" director Rick Famuyiwa and his co-actress Kiersey Clemons, who plays the role of Barry Allen/The Flash's main love interest Iris West in the film.
Miller teased the possibility of his Barry Allen/The Flash to meet the CW Network version of Scalet Speedster, who is played by Grant Gustin stating that he could not wait to see eye-to-eye with each other in the Speed Force.
"The Flash" TV series is currently on its season 3 and it will feature Barry Allen/The Flash (Gustin) dealing with the new timeline dubbed "Flashpoint" after he prevented his mother's murder at the hands of the Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) and completely changed the present timeline.
Miller praised DC Comics writer Grant Morrison on his work on "The Flash" comics, which influenced Miller as he explained how Morrison capture the human side of Barry Allen and audiences will see the fun and excitement of the movie when it is released in cinemas worldwide.
The Flash will appear first in "Justice League" on Nov. 17, 2017, and his solo film is on March 16, 2018.
