The MacBook Pro 2016 will reportedly be followed by two more devices before the year ends with the MacBook Air and the iMac. The iPad Pro will be held off until 2017, something refreshed with new software.
Most of the attention right now is on the upcoming iPhone 7 and the MacBook Pro 2016 though there could be more coming before the year comes to a close. According to Bloomberg, sources claim that an improved MacBook Air and iMac could follow with new 5K displays.
Word about the integration of 5K display has been mentioned before, a product of Apple’s partnership with LG. Aside from the ramped up displays, the MacBook Air will come with a USB-C feature while the iMacs are expected to come with new graphics chips courtesy of AMD.
For 2016, there is a chance that Apple could be releasing a new standalone 5K display monitor for use with computers. The move comes a bit of a surprise considering Apple had discontinued the 27-inch Thunderbolt display earlier this year.
With the revelation of the new products under the Apple umbrella, there are those who are eagerly awaiting the iPad Pro. A much-anticipated refresh on the Apple tablet is expected next year where a 10.5-inch iPad Pro will be brought out in the open.
Among the things to look forward to the refreshed iPad Pro include a faster display technology which will allow users to zoom, pan and scroll on screen. With the iOS 10 expected to be unveiled soon, an updated version will likely be offered when the iPad Pro does come out in 2017, 9to5Mac reported.
While the lineup of potential Apple products should spur up some excitement among loyalists, the attention right now is on the iPhone 7 and the MacBook Pro 2016. The iPhone 7 will be coming with minor iterations while the MacBook Pro will be thinner and come with a highly touted OLED touch bar replacing the old function keys.
The iPhone 7 is set to be unveiled on Sept. 7 while the MacBook Pro will likely follow in October possibly with other Mac refreshes. The video below jots down some of the features expected for the MacBook Pro 2016.
