Lenovo has finally announced it's another Moto Z series device called Moto Z Play at the IFA 2016 event. It's a midrange phone with high-end specifications.

Motorola has confirmed that it will sell the smartphone in two variants such as unlocked Moto Z Play and Verizon powered Moto Z Play Droid.
The unlocked Moto Z Play will be launched in the U.S. for $499 in October. It will support networks like AT&T, T-Mobile but it won't work on Sprint..
However, Moto Z Play Droid will be sold in the U.S. from Sept. 8. It will be available for $408 or monthly installments of $17 for 24 months.
Moto Z Play Specifications and Features
The Moto Z Play has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 pixels. Its body is coated with water repellent nano coating for water protection.Its chassis has a metal frame with glass back. A fingerprint sensor is available at the front side below the display embedded under the Home button.
It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset that houses an octa-core 2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU. It has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of native memory. Users can add up to 2TB through microSD card support as it features a SIM+ microSD combo tray, GSMArena reported.
This smartphone will come preinstalled with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and like other Moto phone it is expected to deliver stock Android experience. There is a 16 megapixel rear camera with features like dual color LED flash, laser auto focus and a 5-megapixel front camera with a front-facing LED flash that will help in snapping wonderful selfies in dim lighting conditions.
This device has a 3150 mAH battery that can provide 50 hours of power to the device for mixed usage. It has a Turbo Power feature that allows the battery to get 9 hours of power in 15 minutes of charging.
The Moto Z Play is equipped with 3.5 mm audio jack, a feature that is missing in Moto Z and Moto Z Force smartphones that were launched in June 2016. It features magnetic connectors at its back to that can allow users to connect MotoMod accessories.
