With the tour "Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience," Ramin Djawadi will transport the series followers into a musical exploration of Westeros or the Seven Kingdoms, in another time and place, with images and footages from the show. Djawadi's full choir and orchestra will bring back the musical highlights of the epic drama from Season 1 to 6.
As organizers promise modern and unique concert tour, the tour will likewise feature an immersive visual experience that will take the audience to Westeros, Billboard reported. The nationwide tour is headlined by the series' German-Iranian composer and produced by Live Nation.
"Game of Thrones" has gained global massive following not only for its interesting story but its sound tracks as well. For instance, its followers enjoy the show's opening sound track which poses as a calm reflection that foreruns the drama that is to follow, according to GeekDad. In a story that contains some horrifying scenes of war, violence and sex, the epic sound intro is allowed to play instead of just being skipped.
The executive producers of the multi Emmy-awarded show, D.B. Weiss and David Benioff themselves have been impressed by their music composer, as well as the force and subtlety of Ramin's music for seven years. They are more excited for the musical that will be unique from other concert tours in history.
Season 6 concluded in June and while its cast and crew are still filming Season 7 which will air in summer of 2017, fans can meanwhile savor the musical side of the fantasy series. The audience may be taken before the great Wall of the North while Season 4 episode 9 "Watchers on the Wall" is playing, or dragons soar as the choir sings OST "Mhysa" from Season 3 or the orchestra plays "Light of the Seven" from Season 6.
"Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience" includes 28 cities in the U.S., starting at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri on Feb. 15, 2017. Stops include Los Angele Forum and Madison Garden in New York. From there it will move across the country until a closing performance at Moda Center, Portland, Oregon on April 2, 2017.
