"Jane The Virgin" Season 3 is set to be graced with two Hispanic superstars since singers Gloria and Emilio Estefan has accepted to make cameos in the upcoming season.
The Cuban-American couple, Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan, will be Jane (Gina Rodriguez) new stars and might play a little conga, according to ET Online .
The power couple will come to help Rogelio Dela Vega (Jamie Camil), to do a Latin telenovela for American audience. As per Entertainment Weekly, however, fans might get a little disappointed knowing that the pair of three decades will not be performing on the show. Although some fans are still hoping to see and witness the 59-year-old diva's priceless moves.
The coming of Emilio Estefan and Gloria Estefan in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 is its latest addition to the number of celebrity superstars who already graced the show.
It just happens that the Estefan' cameo will be in the two episode of the satirical romantic comedy-drama directed by another well-known Latina - "Desperate Housewives" superstar, Eva Longoria, reported TV Line.
The CW shared a snap on Instagram showing Episode #303 "Chapter Forty-Seven," which believes to be the Estefan's episode.
"We are really excited to see @evalongoria into the Marbella this season! #JaneTheVirgin returns," The CW shown on the photo.
Also, Jamie Camil was very excited to the arrival of Eva Longoria in "Jane The Virgin" Season 3 that he expressed his feeling on his Instagram account (@jamiecamil). "Guess who is checking into the Marbella Hotel this Season?" he wrote featuring a card bearing Longoria's name, a hotel bell ring and a "check in" sign.
Previously, "Jane the Virgin" had Paulina Rubio, Britney Spears, Ke$ha, and Colombian singer Juanes appear on the show as stars. These superstars are mostly connected to Camil's character Rogelio, who is also a well-known soap opera actor.
Lately, "Jane the Virgin" fans were heartbroken after Rogelio dela Vega (Jamie Camil) and Xiomara Villanueva (Andrea Navedo) separated in Season 2 because the two wanted different things for their future.
The fans do recall that initially, Rogelio wanted to have a number of kids, while Xo, who got pregnant with Jane (Gina Rodriguez) when she was still a teenager, on the other hand wanted to enjoy life without worrying about more babies.
According to Tv Line, fate had its plans for Xo, since she got pregnant with Esteban Santiago's (Keller Wortham) child. Rogelio will definitely be crushed by the news because Esteban is his arch nemesis, but what fans do not know yet is what Xo will do to the baby.
The question they are asking is will she get an abortion? Will she brave on with her pregnancy? And according to The Hollywood Reporter, Showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman noted that they will answer those questions when Season 3 returns.
Urman also told TV Line that Rogelio will have no say on if Xo will keep the baby or not. "He is not going to be too thrilled. Of course, it is not his decision to make one way or another," she said.
"Jane the Virgin" Season 3 will return on Monday, Oct. 17, at 9 p.m. on The CW.
