All eyes of media observers and fans of the “Descendants of the Sun” are on today’s Seoul Drama Awards 2016 if Song Hye Kyo will show up at all.
As reported by Atimes, Song Joong-ki confirmed and showed up at the event. Also present was Shin Min Ah who, together with Song Joong-ki, were considered the representatives of Korean drama to the award.
Days before Wednesdays, reports indicated she was expected to attend the event, and fans of “Descendants of the Sun” were hoping to see the two stars together again after the 52nd Baeksang Art Award. Besides seeing them, fans were hoping the two would finally admit carrying a secret romantic relationship after so many unverified reports came out of the two being seen dating overseas.
Song Hye Kyo’s absence is being interpreted by Inquistr as the actress likely being in "bad spirit." It explained that she is social media savvy with more than 2 million Instagram followers. However, she only follows two users which she just unfollowed. These are Aino, a South Korean jewelry brand, and bichon, an account which represents a popular dog breed in the country.
The website acknowledges that Song Hye Kyo may have personal reasons for unfollowing the two Instagram accounts, but added, “Common sense dictates that when someone sane and sober like Song Hye-kyo unfollows people, then all is not well.”
Even if Song Hye Kyo failed fans on Thursday, she still has a chance to make up for it by showing up in Song Joong-ki’s birthday bash on Sept. 19. However, there are no specific details yet regarding that event, so fans are all hanging in the air when will they see Song Hye Kyo again.
