Actor Jeff Goldblum has posted a photo on Instagram that shows he is studying up on his role as the Grandmaster villain in the highly-anticipated Thor 3 Ragnarok film.
Earlier Thor movies did not receive as much love as the other films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but the newest and upcoming installment is shaping up to be the largest and most anticipated one yet. Thor 3 Ragnarok cast includes Mark Rufallo as Bruce Banner and the whole film could explain why the god of thunder and the Hulk were not present in the recent "Captain America: Civil War."
Goldblum uploaded a photo on his Instagram account of him holding and seemingly reading up on issue 37 of The Mighty Thor comics for the Thor 3 Ragnarok film, Cinema Blend has learned. The caption of the photo reads: "I'm nothing if not conscientious. #thorragnarok #thor3 #thegrandmaster #marvel #marvelcomics."
Marvel comic fans who know their stuff can easily disregard that Goldblum is studying his Grandmaster role as the 374 issue does not even feature the villain itself. However, the issue does include the villain Hela which will be played by Hollywood actress Cate Blanchett in the upcoming film.

Karl Urban will also be joining Goldblum and Blanchett as the Asgardian Skurge for Thor 3 Ragnarok which is expected to be released in 2017, MovieWeb reported. Tessa Thompson will also be joining the cast as Valkyrie.
Thor 3 Ragnarok will be directed by Taika Waititi who directed What We Do in the Shadows which means that the film may get a new vibe. The recent leaks showed that Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and Anthony Hopkins are donning new costumes for the said film.
In the last Thor film, Loki was seen to have tricked the Asgardians as he disguised himself as Odin while the fate of the real Odin was left vague. Ragnarok could explain what actually happened.
Thor 3 Ragnarok will be released in November 3, 2017 while the actual release date for other countries. Some expect that the film will play a huge role in the MCU with regards to how the Infinity Stones fit in the whole conundrum with Thanos.
