As information to Square Enix's "Kingdom Hearts 3" becomes elusive, recent speculations on the crossover action role-playing game suggest its availability for the PC, and not just the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. Following this rumor, new playable characters are revealed to be added on "KH3's" roster.
During the previous updates, sources said that the game's Xbox One version mysteriously been made unavailable on the Japanese Xbox store, which confused the buying public upon its future developments.
However, Design&Trend reported that the listing was an accident, merely an error in the system, followed by the statement that the "KH3's" Xbox One version is now enlisted again on the site. But the inclusion still did not reveal details as to how the said game can be pre-ordered.
Meanwhile, it is also speculated that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will introduce Kairi as a new playable character in the game's world. The character will reportedly be joining forces with King Mickey, Sora, and Riku.
According toVG247, Kairi made her appearance in the first installment of "Kingdom Hearts" as one of the Princesses of Hearts that Ansem and Heartless want to defeat to pave the way for darkness reign.
Sora manages to save Kairi, and she reappeared in "Kingdom Hearts 2" as a teenage waiting for Sora and Riku to return to her life.
Based on the teaser released for "KH3," Kairi was showcased as Keyblade holder in "Kingdom Hearts 2," hinting her as a potential Keyblade master, but was turned down when she did not appear as a playable character in "KH2." In addition, game director Tetsuya Nomura previously hinted that Eraqus and a young Xenohart will be among the playable characters in the game's prologue.
Since the video game creator has yet to confirm the fixed details about the "KH3," fans should look forward to the "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" release slated for December 2016. Series creator and director Tetsuya Nomura previously confirmed that "KH 2.8" will have a significant connection to "KH3."
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is slated to launch on PS4 and Xbox One consoles next year.
