Crazy theories about celebrities run rampant - from liaison with the Illuminati to celebrity deaths, they have covered it all. But there is one theory about Taylor Swift that is currently gotten a lot of people hooked: that she is actually a clone of Satanist Zeena LaVey.
Following Swift's breakup with "The Avengers" star Tom Hiddleston, people dived into another Swift-related frenzy, after a theory re-surfaced that the "Shake It Off" singer was a clone of LaVey, who served as the High Priestess of the Church of Satan from 1985 to 1990.
Theorist pointed out the uncanny similarities between Swift and LaVey, who both sported curly platinum locks and rocked red lipstick. Moreover, Mashable pointed out that the former is very vocal about her love for her birth year 1989, which is also around the time of the latter's popularity.
Another point added to this theory is that Swift's "Bad Blood" music video is purportedly riddled with Illuminati messages, and that the signer is part of the whole machinery. According to an Instagram user, the Illuminati is known for cloning "successful and influential people that will continue to carry out their sinister agenda for mankind." It was also pointed out that in the "Bad Blood" music video, Swift was kicked out the window by Selena and had her body reconstructed to make her superhuman.
There is also a theory that Swift is not the only clone and that there are many others. To support this claim, theorists noted that numerous Swift look-a-likes have popped up on social media.
The most popular of these look-a-likes is probably Tumblr legend Becky, who was said to have snorted marijuana at a party and died. The post shows a teenage girl who appears to be a younger version of Swift, but the Tumblr user who made the post insisted it was a girl named Becky.
Swift took notice of the post in 2014, and in response, posted a photo of herself wearing a shirt that said, "no its becky."
Meanwhile, despite the "shreds of evidence" claimed, human cloning has never been successfully done ever. Scientifically speaking, only one in 100 clones is a success, one of which is Dolly the sheep. Moreover, cloning is also considered unethical and banned by the United Nations.
